Bristol Palin Gives Birth to Third Child, 'and the Whole Family Couldn't Be More Thrilled'

Sarah Palin’s oldest daughter, Bristol Palin Meyer, gave birth to her third child, a baby girl, on Monday. Bristol, 26, and her husband, Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer, have named their new baby “Atlee Bay.” According to Nameberry.com, Atlee is a variation of the Hebrew boy’s name Adlai, meaning “God is just; the meadow.” The happy couple shared the news of their daughter’s birth on Instagram:

This is Bristol and Dakota’s second child together.

Their first daughter, Sailor Grace, was born in December 2015. Palin’s eldest child, Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston, was born in December 2008. Palin and Tripp’s father, Levi Johnston, ended their relationship in 2010.

Proud grandma Sarah Palin congratulated the new parents on Facebook.

“The whole family couldn’t be more thrilled!” Sarah Palin wrote.

The couple quietly married in the summer of 2016 after initially calling off their wedding plans in 2015.
