Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) are once again whining about billionaires. But given their own significant net worth and palatial properties, do they condemn billionaires just because it buys votes from gullible fools, or because they’re greedy SOBs jealous of anyone more wealthy than they are?

As you can see below, Sanders included incorrect data in his post to mislead voters in order to bolster his point. In other words, the data does not prove just what Sanders wants it to prove. Billionaires have grown richer, but so have many people who earn under a million dollars. Yes, many billionaires are extremely corrupt, but then again, so are politicians, with Sanders and his buddies chief among the lot. The idea that shifting to a Marxist system where politicians like Sanders would be in charge of all the money would actually improve the lives of ordinary people is preposterous. Every Communist country in history has suffered from extreme poverty and lack of social mobility for everyone but the top tyrants.

But Khanna is happy to help Sanders lie because, just like Sanders, he wants to get his fingers on all that money he hasn’t earned. A Marxist is always looking to enrich himself. “989 billionaires are now worth 22% of our GDP. We have more wealth concentration than the gilded age,” sneered Khanna. “Join Bernie & me on October 3rd in SF & October 5th in LA to tax California billionaires at 5% one time to pay for the healthcare of California kids.”

By the way, the proposed billionaire tax in California has already driven multiple wealthy individuals and companies out of the state, making the tax base even smaller and turning the projected government cash gains into a massive loss.

When I was in Vietnam, all around me I saw severe poverty, but there were billboards and propaganda displays everywhere reminding the people that Americans are evil. Marxists always have to have a scapegoat to blame for poverty and misery because their policies only bring more poverty and discontent. The socialist utopia would be right around the corner if only it were not for the evil scapegoat. In this case, Sanders and Khanna have chosen billionaires for their scapegoats.

Finance Monthly puts Sanders’ net worth at somewhere between $2 million and $3 million. This includes nearly $150,000 in royalties from his book. As far back as 2016, Charlie Kirk was calling Sanders out for owning three houses. Media reports indicate that he has sold one of his houses since then, but he still owns two properties. For years, he has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars — or others paid for him — to fly around in private jets so that he could gripe about oligarchs and billionaires.

Khanna is even more hypocritical. Politician Net Worth ponders, “Ro Khanna Net Worth 2026: The $232.7 Million Progressive Paradox.” He not only inherited money, but his investments since he went into Congress have also built up his multimillion-dollar fortune. His custom-built mansion alone is reportedly worth $10 million.

Somehow Khanna receives a salary of less than $200,000, and yet his worth is over $230 million. He can spare us all the lecturing about billionaires. He’s just angry he isn’t a billionaire.
