Why Does Congress Want Us to Lose to the Terrorist Iranian Regime?

The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a resolution to end open American military action against Iran’s terrorist regime. It seems that 47 years of the murderous mullahs killing Americans is not enough, Congress wants 47 more years of bloody Jihad. Maybe if Congress really gets what it wants, Iran will rebuild its nuclear program. With leaders like this at home, it’s no wonder we have so many arrogant enemies.

It is mind-blowing that any American representatives, especially Republicans, could actually vote to stop fighting against a genocidal enemy that has been endlessly fighting us for half a century and openly plans to continue doing so. This is how you know that the elites in our country believe ordinary American citizens’ lives are worthless. The fat cat congressmen don’t care how many Americans die, nor how many civilians in other countries die, just so long as there are enough taxpayers left to fund their salaries and vote for them. And if terrorists who massacre women and children for fun get to declare victory, that apparently doesn’t bother at least half of Congress either.

Unfortunately, it seems as if Donald Trump has been increasingly leaning toward the defeatist side, as he keeps trying to make the Iranian leaders accept a deal that they are never going to accept. Trump even pressured Israel into calling off a strike on Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon and declared a ceasefire about an hour before Hezbollah (Iran's proxy) launched another round of strikes and killed another Israeli. Hopefully Trump will be irritated enough by the new congressional vote to pitch fruitless negotiations and bomb the ayatollahs straight to hell.

Trump declared at the beginning of this operation that he wanted "unconditional surrender" from Tehran or he'd destroy the regime. It was an excellent plan, and he should stick to it.

A majority of congressmen just metaphorically spat on the graves of the 13 Americans who died fighting in Operation Epic Fury. Good lord, how did we come in less than a century from the unconditional victory and national unity of WWII to the pro-terror policymaking of 2026?
