Iranian Regime Attacks U.S. Ships: Can’t We Agree There Is No Ceasefire?

U.S. Central Command has confirmed that the Iranian regime fired upon American warships in the Strait of Hormuz. And given that the Iranian regime has done nothing but violate the ceasefire ever since it was announced, isn’t it about time we acknowledge there is no ceasefire really and just blow these bastards to hell? Why should we risk American lives trying to force people who believe Allah commanded eternal jihad to be reasonable?

A ceasefire demands that both sides stop firing. Whenever there is a ceasefire between Islamic jihadis like those in Gaza or Iran and Judeo-Christians nations like Israel or America, it always seems to be one-sided. That is not a coincidence; it is because the other side in the conflict with us is composed of fundamentalist Islamic terrorists.

CENTCOM issued a statement on Thursday afternoon confirming:

U.S. forces intercepted unprovoked Iranian attacks and responded with self-defense strikes as U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers transited the Strait of Hormuz to the Gulf of Oman, May 7.

Iranian forces launched multiple missiles, drones and small boats as USS Truxtun (DDG 103), USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115), and USS Mason (DDG 87) transited the international sea passage. No U.S. assets were struck.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) eliminated inbound threats and targeted Iranian military facilities responsible for attacking U.S. forces including missile and drone launch sites; command and control locations; and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance nodes.

The message ended by saying that American forces are not seeking escalation. That is like saying we don’t want to be at war with the Iranian regime at all. Unfortunately, that is not our choice.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy Command released a statement on X this week, “We thank captains & shipowners in Persian Gulf & Gulf of Oman for complying with Iran’s Strait of Hormuz regulations & contributing to regional maritime security. With aggressor's threats neutralized & new protocols in place, safe, stable passage through SOH will be ensured.” IGC was referring to the United States as the "aggressor," and stating that it would not consider the strait open until the U.S. military is no longer there and its own demands are met. These have included paying tolls to the Iranian regime for passage through the Strait of Hormuz and rejecting all U.S. military protection.

Who are the people still in charge of Iran? Mohammad-Baquer "Death to America" Qalibaf, longtime tyrant Abbas Araghchi, mass murdering Ali Khamenei's son, and their pals. There has been no regime change in Iran, so of course there has been no change in the 47-year-old regime policy of making war on the "great Satan" America.

The Iranian regime began bombarding civilians in multiple nations within two hours of the USA announcing its ceasefire announcement with them. Ever since then we've seen almost daily ceasefire violations from the Iranian regime, not to mention that it continues to execute its own Persian people who protested for freedom.

There is no ceasefire because the Iranian regime is run by genocidal maniacs who would no more stop fighting than they would eat bacon for breakfast.
