The UK has a new plan for launching a digital ID that it claims will protect citizens. However, it's really a dystopian tyrant’s dream come true. Just ask the World Economic Forum (WEF), the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and the COVID-19 tyrants.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer framed the digital ID as a way to make the immigration system more fair. Spouting nonsense about respecting borders and validating people‘s faith in the government, despite the fact that he has been importing up to a thousand illegal immigrants daily into the UK, Starmer announced, “This government will make a new free-of-charge digital ID mandatory for the right to work by the end of this parliament…. You will not be able to work in the United Kingdom if you do not have digital ID.” It will support your rights by being required whether you like it or not. Typical Marxist propaganda.
This is not about fairness; this is about control. Starmer doesn’t care about securing borders. If he did, he would not continue to spend vast amounts of money on illegal aliens and arrest anyone who criticizes mass migration. But what he wants to do is make it as easy as possible to control what every citizen says and does and buys. Up to 30 people a day are arrested for exercising freedom of speech in the UK. Imagine if punishing Brits for speaking truths the government does not want known were as simple as tampering with their digital IDs, making them suddenly ineligible to work. If the crackdowns are outrageous so far, they would be that much worse with the digital IDs.
We recognize this scenario because Communist China has already implemented a digital ID and social credit system that is required to buy, do, or go anywhere. During the horrific and inhumane CCP Covid lockdowns, for instance, countless Chinese protestors’ lives were frozen when the government simply turned their QR codes red.
WEF, which has countless ties to the CCP and usually hosts at least one conference annually in China, was apparently fired with enthusiasm by the CCP’s example and launched its own digital ID plan. Like the Chinese version, WEF’s proposed ID would be required to do or buy anything, from travel to banking to electronics use to voting to healthcare to paying taxes to social media access.

WEF subsequently launched the Known Traveller Digital Identity (KTDI) program in conjunction with the Dutch and Canadian governments and multiple companies/entities including Accenture, Schiphol Airport, and Idemia. The KTDI partnership appears to be still in existence.
But Reform UK leader Nigel Farage pointed out that Britain and the rest of the Western world already got a taste of what a nightmare the digital ID will be during the COVID era. “And didn’t we see it all when we had the pandemic, when you had to have vaccine ID to travel, to do various things? Did that stop the COVID pandemic’s … spreading? Did it help? All it did was put cost and inconvenience on everybody else,” he said.

Unless the British want the worst and most tyrannical aspects of the Covid lockdowns and vaccine passports to return, they need to reject digital ID altogether and take their government back.
