It is now official leftist policy to deny, attack, and undermine parental rights whenever possible. If leftists can’t talk you into killing your baby before it’s born, they’ll then persist in trying to usurp your role as parent at every opportunity.
Of course, when we look at the Democratic Party, we can see that it has always been inclined to deny parental rights to at least some people, considering how it once defended the “right” to sell black children away from their enslaved parents. But in the 21st century, denying parental rights has practically become a key tenet of the party platform, and we see leftists across America putting this pernicious ideology into practice.
We particularly see the attack on parental rights through the race-baiting and sexual grooming ongoing in our schools, of course. Though politicians and medical professionals are definitely a big part of the problem, too.
On Aug. 25, for example, the U.S. Department of Education’s Student Privacy Policy Office (SPPO) announced that it had launched an investigation into Burlington Public Schools in Massachusetts:
[The investigation is] for [Burlington] allegedly failing to comply with parents’ written requests to opt their children out of a survey that asked students questions about sensitive topics, including drug and alcohol use, sexual encounters, and “gender identity.” These actions potentially violate parents’ rights under the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA), which allows parents to recuse their children from participating in school surveys or questionnaires that ask students certain sensitive, private information.
Meanwhile, in Virginia, Loudoun County Public Schools learned nothing from its previous massive scandal of hiding an LGBTQ-identifying boy’s rape of two different girls at two separate schools from parents. Loudoun decided to defy the Trump administration and continue to violate Title IX by allowing so-called transgender students — i.e., biological males — to access girls’ sports and facilities. Parental rights and women’s rights mean nothing when it comes to mentally ill dudes in dresses.
Right next door in Fairfax County, Va., the school district is accused of arranging and paying for students’ abortions without notifying the girls’ parents. In this case, the abortionists and school authorities would all seem to be complicit in a very serious crime.

As I noted above, these woke school districts often have the support of various Democrat politicians in their anti-parent, anti-child policies. Colorado, for example, criminalized “misgendering,” including parents refusing to pretend their kids can alter their biological sex.
California is, if possible, even more blatant. The law there actually bans schools from informing parents that their child is “gender transitioning.”
Parental rights — and the family itself — are under attack in America from woke leftists. That is a major threat to our national survival, considering that the family is the building block of society. Fortunately, many Americans are awake to the danger, but we need to be more vigilant than ever as we hold educators, administrators, medical professionals, and politicians to account for how they either protect or assault our sacred rights and endanger our children.
