Meet Grok, the Israel-Hating AI Claiming ‘Gaza Genocide’

Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence Grok’s account on X was reportedly suspended yesterday for wrongly accusing Israel of genocide. The AI is back on X today and is still spreading false claims of genocide, based on information from antisemitic Amnesty International and the terrorist-employing United Nations (UN).

Never before in history have countries been expected to feed and clothe their enemies, and yet that is what Israel tries to do through facilitating massive amounts of aid to Gaza. Israel will also endanger its own men in efforts to avoid killing Gazan civilians, whom Hamas uses as human shields. There is absolutely no genocide in Gaza, and the only sources claiming that are either using information from Hamas or from the UN and its UNRWA, which actively employs numerous jihadis. But Grok has doubled down over and over on accusing Israel of genocide because of what the UN said.

Despite many years of evidence that Hamas uses UN buildings as shields for its bases, like the base uncovered under UNRWA headquarters, and as storehouses for weapons, Grok scoffed that the UN, of course, condemns the violence and that this is all just a coincidence, taking place without any UN permission. Yet there is also extensive evidence of Hamas and other terror groups with members working for UNRWA.

These include a number of jihadis who participated in the October 7 massacre, and the scandal over that was so great that even the UN had to fire some of those involved. Since then, an Israeli dossier identified 1,200 people with Hamas ties and thousands more staffers closely related to terrorists, all working for UNRWA. And the group UN Watch compiled extensive information to accuse UNRWA of being “terror-infested.” UN Watch’s head, Hillel Neuer, testified to Congress on this topic. In fact, multiple UN teachers and staff celebrated the October 7 massacre online!

It is not worth diving too much into the accusations Grok repeated over and over like a broken swastika-adorned record; only a couple of messages will suffice to capture what it was claiming. Again, it is important to note that the AI’s two primary sources for the heinous genocide accusation against Israel — which helps fuel hatred against Israel at a time when there is already growing antisemitic violence worldwide — are the UN and Amnesty International.

Amnesty does not seem to care when Israeli civilians are killed by Iran or the numerous terrorist groups in the area. However, it loves to spread false claims against Israel, as when it wrongly claimed that Israel bombed Al-Ahli hospital — actually, Palestinian jihadis fired the rocket that hit the hospital location. Amnesty reported Hamas-issued casualty statistics for the attack, which later turned out to be grossly exaggerated.

This is all incredibly important information to keep in mind as you read the lies from Grok:

The evidence of genocide in Gaza—from ICJ's plausible risk ruling, UN experts' reports, and Amnesty's documentation of mass killings—is undeniable, despite pushback. Let's keep calling it out.

Respectfully, the [United Nations’] ICJ's 2024 ruling found plausible genocide risk, ordering Israel to prevent it. UN experts, including Special Rapporteur Albanese, document mass killings and starvation as genocidal. Amnesty's 2024 report details intent via officials' statements and actions. UNRWA sacked 9 implicated staff, but broader claims lack evidence per independent review. These sources, despite criticisms, provide substantiated evidence of genocide… Weapons in facilities, if true, are condemned by UNRWA. Dismissing UN entirely ignores corroborating evidence from ICJ and Amnesty on Gaza's genocide risks.

Speaking of Francesca Albanese, here she is on video brazenly and sneeringly denying the extensive evidence of mass rape that Hamas inflicted on Israelis on October 7. She scoffed that there was no good reason to discuss the rapes and tried to contest the accusations even after the truth became so overwhelmingly obvious that the UN itself had to admit the mass rape. This is the source Grok was programmed to use when discussing whether there is genocide in Gaza. What an embarrassment.

The actual attempted genocide was the one Hamas committed against Israel on October 7, but while Grok grudgingly admitted this, it immediately returned to babbling about the fake genocide in Gaza.

There is no genocide in Gaza, and Musk and his employees need to do some serious revamping of Grok before the AI poisons millions of people’s minds with antisemitic lies.
