Donald Trump has signed an executive order banning biological men from women’s sports, a great victory for American girls and women, and something which ought to be a self-evident proposition. But leftists are naturally losing their minds — if they have any left to lose. LGBTQ ideology has reached Plutonian depths of horror and absurdity, and most Americans see that clearly.
As the great GK Chesterton once observed, “The modern world does not need to be satirized; for it is satirizing itself.” Or, put another way, “The woke LGBTQ movement does not need to be satirized; for it is satirizing itself.” No alcoholic ever imagined inanities and insanities in his nightmares to equal the waking and shameless absurdities of “transgenders” in 2025 America.

Of course, the gross misuse of taxpayer funds from USAID is dominating the news cycle right now, and below are just a few of the patently absurd USAID LGBTQ projects uncovered by the Trump administration:
$20,600 for a drag show in Ecuador through the State Department.
$47,020 for a transgender opera in Colombia through the State Department.
$32,000 for an LGBTQ-centered comic book in Peru through the State Department.
$3,315,446 for “being LGBTQ in the Caribbean” through USAID.
$8,000 to promote DEI among LGBTQ groups in Cyprus through the State Department.
$1.5 million to promote job opportunities for LGBTQ individuals in Serbia through USAID.
$39,652 to host seminars at the Edinburgh International Book Festival on gender identity and racial equality through the State Department.

As another non-federal illustration of LGBTQ insanity, University of Tennessee Knoxville (UTK) has a “Furry Club.” If you are fortunate enough not to have met with that term previously, furries are mentally ill individuals who “identify” as animals or enjoy dressing up as and acting like anthropomorphic animals. This, naturally, causes a great deal of discomfort for the people around them. It’s bad enough when your two-year-old tries to eat biscuits while play-acting he’s a dog, it’s that much worse when a 22-year-old crouches on the ground in public and licks her arm claiming she’s a cat or dons fetish gear.
The club’s constitution announces that any funds remaining should the club dissolve (a consummation devoutly to be wished) would go to equally radical LGBTQ club UTKGaymerz. Incidentally, tuition and fees for UTK are $13,812 for in-state students or $33,256 for out-of-state. That’s an awful lot of money to spend on your kid to allow him to play-act as a dog or a bear like a two-year-old.
Of course, even UTK can’t equal the absurdity of the recent University of Louisville lecture, “Swamp Tales, Trans Ghosts, and Nonbinary Magical Realism.” What an embarrassing waste of time and money most colleges have become.
From USAID to UTK, Democrats have made an obvious laughingstock of themselves with LGBTQ ideology. Thank God Americans are so awake to this self-satirizing foolishness that they voted Donald Trump into office to restore sanity to America.
