This year, veterans and active duty military received a wonderful gift just before Veterans Day: the election win of a new commander-in-chief.
Another brave young soldier died of wounds sustained during Biden-Harris’s disastrous Gaza pier effort just before the election, one of at least 17 military casualties under the current Democrat administration’s watch (which doesn’t count the too-many veteran/military suicides and career-ending COVID-19 vaccine injuries). Thanks to Dementia Joe Biden and Kamala Hamas Harris, wars have erupted in multiple parts of the world, and military leadership and policy have grown increasingly woke. But veterans who watched this catastrophe with increasing depression can see the imminent inauguration of Donald Trump and Marine veteran JD Vance as a great sign of hope.

Biden oversaw the horrifically awful Afghanistan withdrawal, where an unknown number of Americans and allies were left stranded and 13 American service members and about 200 Afghanis were killed in a Kabul terror attack. Biden repeatedly checked his watch while meeting the caskets of the 13 fallen heroes and later brazenly denied during his embarrassing presidential debate with Trump that any servicemen had died under his watch. Trump, in contrast, contacted the families of the Kabul victims in 2021 and attended a memorial for them this year. Biden and Harris did not attend the memorial, despite reportedly having no conflicting events scheduled.
The late, great Gen. George Patton — whose birthday is today — famously said, “No [man] ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb b*stard die for his.” Trump wants to protect Americans as much as possible, even when it is necessary to strike jihadis or other threats. That certainly can’t be said for Biden and Kamala.
2022 Flashback: Happy Veterans’ Day: West Point Gives Unvaxxed Cadets 10 Hours to Get Vaccine or Face Punishment
The Biden-Harris administration forced troops and military academy cadets to get the risky COVID-19 vaccines or be kicked out. Besides the 13 Kabul casualties, at least three more military members were killed by a jihadi strike in Jordan this year, with several dozen more troops injured. U.S. Army Sgt. Quandarius Davon Stanley, only 23 years old, is the most recent casualty, dying from injuries he received during the incredibly expensive and failed Biden-Harris project to build a pier for Hamas-controlled Gaza. It’s no wonder recruitment has been down, especially among family members of veterans. What patriot would want to serve under Joe Biden as commander-in-chief?

Trump, in contrast, has enthusiastically praised our “great military” and promised to end wars. During his first term, America and its military were strong and respected, even feared by foreign dictators. While the Biden administration was seemingly posting a Chinese plane image in a Veterans Day message today, Trump’s Vice President-elect, veteran JD Vance, was posting, “Thank you to all the veterans out there for putting on this country's uniform. In a country blessed with incredible natural resources, perhaps the most valuable resource we have is that millions of people are willing to serve in uniform.”
Years ago, George W. Bush campaigned with a slogan for the U.S. military: “Help is on the way.” With Donald Trump’s election win, help has arrived. A new commander-in-chief is coming to Washington, D.C.
