The Biden administration is aiming to destroy up to 22 million acres of nature to “save the planet” from the fake climate crisis. Meanwhile, America’s enemies continue to produce reliable energy — namely, coal and gas.
Under Biden, America is aiming to commit energy suicide in the name of climate alarmism, even as countries like Communist China look to increase their dependable energy supply. You’d almost think this country was led by an old, woke fool with dementia and his America-hating handlers.
Biden’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) issued two January releases about the Western Solar Plan. In one, BLM Acting Deputy Secretary Laura Daniel-Davis bragged about “the Biden-Harris administration’s goal of a carbon pollution-free power sector by 2035.” The solar project will create union jobs, help the “climate crisis,” and take up vast amounts of land, according to BLM.
So-called “green” energy is actually toxic for the environment, inefficient, and unprofitable. It cannot support the same grid as more reliable energy can, it kills animals, and it takes up massive amounts of land.
There’s nothing that illustrates the total hypocrisy and contradictory nature of the climate alarmist ideology more than miles of nature ruined by bird-killing windmills or noxious solar panels (solar panels and wind turbines also generate lots of toxic waste). It’s pure propaganda that such “green” energy could support the current United States energy grid, as states like California and Texas have found out, or that it would help the environment.
Furthermore, as Nobel Prize in Physics 2022 winner Dr. John Clauser recently declared, “I believe there is no climate crisis.” He has a great deal of science to back his statement, not to mention the fact that climate alarmists have been wildly wrong for 50+ years in their predictions. Indeed, in contrast to the current doom narrative, data shows that the globe is cooling, not warming.
Yet Biden’s BLM wants a stunning amount of land for its solar project:
In considering updates to the Western Solar Plan, the BLM worked closely with the Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory to examine forecasts for national clean energy needs and determined that approximately 700,000 acres of public lands would be needed to meet those goals. The BLM’s preferred alternative in the updated Western Solar Plan would provide approximately 22 million acres of land open for solar application, giving maximum flexibility to reach the nation’s clean energy goals.
This project would simply waste taxpayer money and damage millions of acres of land. It would also ensure all that land is off-limits for Americans’ use. The only justifications for it are ideology or money laundering. But that seems to be the modus operandi of the Biden administration.
Meanwhile, the U.S.-hating Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) aren’t allowing wokeness to sabotage their energy output. While 2023 oil production for OPEC overall was somewhat down from 2022, terrorist-sponsoring Iran reportedly increased its production from 2.54 million barrels per day in 2022 to 2.87 million barrels per day by the end of 2023. The Iranian regime touts “Death to America” as one of its main slogans. Meanwhile, U.S. gas and oil production growth is reportedly decelerating. How does this seem like a good idea to anyone?
The CCP also sees America as its number one enemy, and the CCP — as of March 2023 — was allowing about two new coal power plants every single week. Then, on Jan. 16, Reuters reported that “China's coal output reached a record high in 2023, data from the statistics bureau showed on Wednesday, amid an ongoing focus on energy security.” If only the Biden administration cared about energy security instead of woke climate propaganda.
