George Soros pet, top-level cuck, and current UK Guardian of Democracy™ Andy Burnham managed to gather up the testicular fortitude to pretend to care about the concerns voiced by the Piddington bigots over the planned deposition of thousands of military-age migrants into a village of 350:
I understand the strength of feeling, and that's something that is across the country, but the only thing to do is to get the number of crossings down. And they are significantly down; they are now at a seven-year low. We also made a commitment to people to end the use of hotels to house refugees and asylum seekers. And that commitment needs to be honored, and I think the vast majority of people are saying, 'Yeah, that really does need to proceed'. This involves difficult decisions. It's about fairness across the country, not saying that only one part of the country or one community should do all of the work. It’s difficult, and obviously I will look at the issues being raised by the community.

How nervous he looks betrays the momentum that the pushback against the Piddington Siege has garnered over the last couple of weeks.

Normally, a prime minister would never deign to try to assuage the grievances of the natives over their Replacement Migration scheme; what this demonstrates is the enormous political pressure that the story has garnered thanks to the tireless work of independent journalists like me and others.
As the pithy axiom goes, “if the situation were hopeless, the propaganda wouldn’t be necessary.”
The preferred course of action is always to ignore an inconvenient story — to exert a blackout in controlled media like the BBC or Channel 4, and hope it goes away.
Failing the effectiveness of ignoring it, then, as his predecessor did, they denounce their opponents as irredeemable racists and throw them all in the gulag.

Where they definitely never want to be is where they are now: playing defense by lending any credence to the narrative at all.
Prediction
After all of the hand-wringing and the “understanding of the strength of feeling” and the performative nods to Democracy™ by the prime minister and everyone else in Labour, the Great Piddington Migrant Dump will proceed as scheduled.
But why?
The path of least resistance in this case, which the technocrats have surely considered, would clearly be to offer a fake concession and proceed with the exact same agenda under a different guise.
So why wouldn’t they simply publicly forego the plan in its current form and go about their schemes in less obvious ways?
The answer is that they simply cannot afford to allow actual democracy to break out in Piddington because, if they cave, it will have set the precedent that complaining loudly enough actually yields some modicum of attention from the government.
And the powers that be can’t allow that to stand.
