Yesterday, the threat of a Trump 3rd party candidacy seemed to be behind us. According to the Blaze’s Dana Loesch, The Donald told her that he would “only ever run as a Republican.”

Today, according to Loesch on Twitter, the Trump camp adjusted that assertion with a huge buttinsky:
Confirmed official from Trump camp on 3rd party: “I am running as a Republican but if I am not treated right then I may run third-party.”

So — the GOP had better proceed wisely if they want to prevent Trump from becoming a third-party candidate next year.
