This is where we are as a country: Planned Parenthood has far more access to and influence with our government than the average American. And what Planned Parenthood wants is ghastly.

Alisa Laport Snow, the lobbyist representing the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates, testified that her organization believes the decision to kill an infant who survives a failed abortion should be left up to the woman seeking an abortion and her abortion doctor.

“So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief,” said Rep. Jim Boyd. “If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?”

“We believe that any decision that’s made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician,” said Planned Parenthood lobbyist Snow.

In addition to the policy, it’s striking how difficult the Planned Parenthood official finds saying an f-word: family. It’s clearly not a word she is comfortable saying.

Why is that?

Just remember these are the same people that you ally yourself with on Gay Marriage.

As if allying with the Nazis on some policy, was ever a good idea. You know, that Nazi proposal to make the trains run on time, sounds a treat!

Much more comprehensive video of the March 25 hearing (including damning remarks by the Planned Parenthood lobbyist in her prepared statement, and the views of the bill’s sponsor & of several legislators) here:

let's not forget that the only congresscritter (at that time) to vote against saving the life of a baby having somehow survived an abortion was ... our favorite kenyan. he woke up from voting 'present' long enough to vote for killing the helpless babies.

i remember when this whole abortion fight was going on long ago it was a argument by the feminists that (of course) public funding would never be used for abortions.

its always been true that those who can't vote, suffer for it. no vote, no rights. if you don't see the good vs. evil thing going on here you really aren't looking too hard. this is a good topic around religious holidays. kinda brings it all home, huh.

This video hasn't changed my opinion of PP at all. I have the same *ahem* respect for them that I've always had. The same respect my grandfather had for the wehrmacht when he liberated Ravensbruck.

In the part of the questioning when the lobbyist gave the appearance of backtracking she said she only had some difficulties with the language concerning transport to the hospital. One of the Senators asked her what objection she could have if a baby is born alive that the law requires the abortion clinic to arrange for transport to a hospital.

I am sorry the Senator didn't press her for what her objections were.

The woman was a ‘dunce personified’ - she is not ‘where we are going’ - we are there.

Planned Parenthood is just getting in touch with Margaret Sanger's Nazi infatuation , as Bob Dylan sang..."death to all those who would whimper and cry.." Increasingly not a good time to be weak or infirm or powerless. The devils are sharpening their knives.
If I was God this woman would get uterine cancer, but fortunately God is merciful. Still there will be hell to pay for those who shed the blood of innocents.

This is very old thought. In Medieval Europe if an infant was murdered it was only prosecuted if a victim came forward. The victim was usually the dad. If no victim came forward, there was no crime. The murdered infant him/herself wasn't considered a victim, they didn't have rights. If an infant was murdered, and a victim came forward, the punishment for the crime was death by drowning. Since then we have invented ultrasound, discovered different blood types, and discovered DNA, which proves the fetus is a separate individual. Now infants have rights and can be victims of crime. What this woman is asking for is regression, not progress.

One of the mercifully few issues in which liberty and morality are in direct, irreconcilable conflict.
