Pat Caddell addressed Accuracy in Media’s conference on Obama and the media this week. Caddell used the moment to expose the media for covering up a) an Obama adviser taking what looks like a payoff from the Iranians and b) the Obama administration’s Benghazi cover-up. He concludes that media bias has become so extreme that it now endangers the republic.
CADDELL: “I think we’re at the most dangerous time in our political history in terms of the balance of power in the role that the media plays in whether or not we maintain a free democracy.
“Nowhere was this more evident than during the tragic death of a U.S. ambassador in Libya that was lied about for nine days, because the press and the administration did not want to admit it was a terrorist attack.
“We’ve had nine days of lies over what happened because they can’t dare say it’s a terrorist attack, and the press won’t push this,” said Caddell. “Yesterday there was not a single piece in The New York Times over the question of Libya. Twenty American embassies, yesterday, are under attack. None of that is on the national news. None of it is being pressed in the papers.”
Caddell added that it is one thing for the news to have a biased view, but “It is another thing to specifically decide that you will not tell the American people information they have a right to know.”

Bear in mind these are people being paid to produce a product, namely the news, and they have the gall to call themselves professionals. They still have disdain for the insurgent journalists out here running the blogs, even when they are doing their jobs for them.

It is no longer ok to just pretend that they “play favorites”. It is no longer ok to “catch them” when they lie, distort, forge documents, redden eyes, grossly omit, grossly exaggerate, grossly commit journalistic fraud, form a secret cabal, or otherwise make the information stream too toxic to drink from.

Every left wing newspaper, left wing tv news, etc. has been losing money hand over fist for decades. No one buys/watches and yet they still stay in business. Who is propping them up? We need to get answers and, yes, the media DOES need to be brought down.
If you want to know how they are staying in business, look no further than the Stimulus, and the Son of Stimulus. GE gives their Obama stash to NBC, and MSNBC, and we know Stimulus monies went to at least two programs at MSNBC. I think Madcow was one, and maybe Ed’s show.
Rush said when Stimulus was passed that it was going to be nothing but a slush fund for Obama’s donors, and all those worshipped at the altar of Chicago Jesus. He was right. Solyndra? Yep. Speaking of Chicago Jesus, you want to know where some of the money comes from, looking under the hood of Chicago should show you. Look to see how many of those are connected to Podesta while you are at it. If you put him in the Muckety-Muck’s spin cycle, you then see a financial spider web that has no end.
Beyond Stimulus, all that is Chicago’s underbelly, (see Mexican drug cartels, etc.), I would look at money coming from Evil Overlord’s friends in the Muslim Brotherhood. I think Valerie Jarrett may have the pipeline open on that connection. They then funnel it to whoever needs it. Soros is not the only one keeping the MSM alive, and well. And most of the time, they can do this because they either have a front like GE, or they have some Wall Street front man. It might look clean, but if our intrepid investigative reporters would get off their duffs, and grow a pair, they could find it fairly easily. However, I am thinking going too far will get yourself a nice obituary. Some who tried looking into bundling of Teh Won did not live long enough to tell the story. These people in power do not roll like the Clintons, they are far worse. Never thought I would say that in my whole life I never thought I would say someone in the White House was worse than the Clinton machine.
The way to stop it, the way to end it, save the country in November, both presidential and Congress wise, and then press hard for a major clean up. Educate your family members, and others in your life, and make sure your local officials keep their noses clean. I believe you can see some evidence there is a clean up going on by the ratings of those who are on tv, and the fact that print media is dying fast. On the print side, that could be a bad thing, real easy for electronic media to not be hard sourced, or generate thought lines via social media insanity. Or another way of looking at things, what happens if places like PJ Media, etc., are limited in what they can put out via an internet “control” force? For now though, I think there is evidence the American people are finding their news sources in other places rather than traditional tv, and NYT outlets due to the very reasons Pat Caddell cited. We saw this corruption way back, and we welcome Mr. Caddell to our world.

As an aside, Mr. Caddell should also be commended for his work with Citizens United. When we win this fight for our nation, Mr. Caddell should receive an award for intellectual honesty IMHO. A rare thing indeed, intellectual honesty. He could have easily opted out of this battle, and despite the threats, which I am sure he has received, he did what real American patriots do, he fought back. I am sure I do not agree with Mr. Caddell on much regarding policy, LOL!, but I admire him immensely for his actions over the years to save this country. The MSM has fully committed itself to the socialist takeover and hopes to be reborn as Pravda and Investia in the coming totalitarian state. They needn’t worry about competition from more objective and professional news sources, as these will soon be banned and their monopoly restored. It’s a desperate gamble that they undertake, but they also know that their fate is sealed if the news business continues as a competitive marketplace.

And a note to those who are not “life long Democrats”, for those who are Republicans, Conservatives, Base members of the GOP, etc., if we want to further lift the veil, or enlighten those coming out of their DNC comas, we are going to have to win the war of ideas, or ideology slowly with some of these people. Newbies to the fight can get overwhelmed. Telling them, “I told you Obama was a communist”, or “We have been telling you this for 50 years!” is not a good way to start our new friendships either.
We are going to have to help them understand what will have to take place to save the country. I bet some Democrats already get it, but I am not sure they see the total picture of what precisely is coming our way in 2013. Financially, it is going to be like going over the Alps, and not just a cliff. Some of their Democrat, traditional sacred cows are going to have to be sacrificed, and I can foresee some serious battles in Congress to get anything from Entitlement programs, and reforms in other agencies looked at with favor from the “lifelong Democrats” not happy with the DNC. I hope and pray Romney and Ryan used the bully pulpit to explain to these voters why XY&Z have to take place, but if they do not, we who have not been “life long Democrats” are going to have to pick up the slack. Sort of a show and tell deal, and with a gentle tone. The Tea Party has shown that Republicans, and Democrats can work together to achieve some awesome things. Even if someone chooses not to be affiliated with the Tea Party, we can learn from them, and other groups, as to how to bridge our gaps, and work on saving the country.
To any “life long Democrats” who are going to show up in droves to vote Romney/Ryan reading this, I personally would like to thank you, and look forward to working with you, despite our differences, in saving the nation. I firmly believe that together, there is nothing flyover Democrats, and flyover Republicans cannot accomplish. The Left in this country – including the Democrat Party and the “mainstream / traditional” media along with the elected officials and their appointees – have created a cosmic-scale poison pill.
There is an avalanche poised above our heads, growing each day with the accumulating interest on the debt the Democrat legislators have so eagerly authorized. It grows each hour that Bernanke’s “quantitative easing” dilutes the value of our money supply. The seismic events of 2008 revealed by the immediate fracture that we faced a much vaster underlying geologic fault, with stupendous forces building for decades, fueled by the progressive imperative that public money is to be used to purchase votes and voter loyalty.
Whatever the results of the election, whichever party is given nominal control of the levers of power, the Democrat / Left have created an impending economic disaster that promises to dominate the first half of this 21st century. Maintaining the international currency charade requires increasing efforts from all the cynical ministers to clamp down on the increasingly volatile markets and consumer fears.
It’s a classic dilemma of the attempts to control an unstable system actually amplifying the instability. Like a kid on a bicycle over-steering into a series of veering turns oscillating around the original path. The most likely scenario is a crash.
If Romney wins, you can be sure the Left will instantly turn their efforts to “spoiling” and obstructionism, as they always have. The economic collapse they will blame on Republicans.
