Gov. Nikki of South Carolina appeared in the bloggers’ Googleworld today to take a few questions ahead of her speech tonight. The governor will speak ahead of Ann Romney in primetime, in what is arguably the most important speech of her political career tonight.
Gov. Haley appeared relaxed and confident as she took a few questions. Right off the bat, she noted that while she is a female and minority, “My audience is America” tonight. She also fielded a question regarding the largely media-driven fracas over abortion here at the convention. Haley said that she knows pro-choice women in the GOP and pro-life women in the Democratic Party, and that women are not one-issue voters. Women, according to Gov. Haley, will be voting mostly on the Obama economy.

Nikki Haley is such a joke. I will be glad when the national audience finally sees what a immature, unprofessional governor that sits and plays on facebook, posting music lyrics so people will feel sorry for her. She doesn’t have a clue how to govern – she doesn’t even spend enough time attempting it. She is campaigning for Mitt, fundraising, writing a book, posing for pictures, flying all over in the name of new jobs which never happened.
Please – I hope the nation will finally see Nikki Haley for what she really is – someone that is trying to climb the National republican ladder at any and all cost to the state of SC – she doesn’t care who she screws over or steps over to get what she wants.
I had no idea Joe McGinniss did drag.
Note the typical response of a liberal: avoid the factual argument and attack person. Ad hominem is still bogus even when it’s addressed “to the woman.”
Haley – like Sanford before her – scares the heck out of the corrupt establishment of both parties in this state, especially the legislature. SC Governors have little power other than the bully pulpit, so it is important to the crooks to bring her down or at least shut her up.
Patricia: perhaps S. Carolina could trade governors with N. Carolina, you know, the dufus who suggested suspending Congressional elections? As a result of such a trade, N. Carolina’s governance would be vastly improved, and S. Carolina would slide off into the Atlantic.
We are so proud of Gov. Haley here in S.C. She is a great roll model for girls and a wonderful representative for Women every where. Way to go Gov. Haley, you knocked it out of the park!!!
OUT-FRAKKING-STANDING! That’s exactly how you handle those kinds of questions.
It’s the economy stupid.
You forgot the “as a lifelong Republican” part. Back to trollation 101 with you.
Supposed to be IRT #1 ^^^.

Re: Politics 101 (remedial)
Todd,
Pls review the attached vid. Note how a real, professional politician answers a “gotcha” question.
1. She didn’t step right in the pile of dookey the reporter dumped in front of her.
2. She understands that she is in control, not the reporter.
3. It’s the economy stupid.
4. When in doubt, refer to rule 3 ^^^.
5. So Todd, next time a reporter axes you a “gotcha” question, what do you do?
a) answer the question with a rambling crackpot theory that you have no evidence to back up?
b) answer the question?
c) redirect like Gov. Haley did?
A? Sorry Todd. Why don’t you try dog catching?
No, Todd. B isn’t the right answer, either.
savvy southern style
Way to go Snork! I totally agree. Some Libs. on this post are name calling again. That’s what they do when they have no intelligent reply. I live in SC and I’m very proud of her. Thanks to her I am now a registered Republican.
We need more young fresh faces out there and at last we are getting them…women and men.
