According to an ABC News story published Dec. 5, 2008, here are the 2008 campaign totals:
John McCain campaign — $238 million
Federal matching funds — $50 million
TOTAL — $288 million
Obama campaign — $750 million
According to ABC, not only did Obama raise more money than McCain by a huge margin, he outraised both George W. Bush and John Kerry’s combined 2004 total.
Truth just doesn’t seem to matter anymore. The idiots that support Comrade Obama believe ANYTHING he says and nothing suffices to rebut it. I grew up with “God said it, I believe it, and that settles it” fundamentalists but they were susceptible to reason; the people who beleive in this demigod are not susceptible to facts or logic, it is faith gone wild and the most dangerous sort of blind, mindless faith.
I wasn’t really frightened for the Country at the prospect of Comrade Obama’s election. I detested McCain, thoroughly disliked Palin, and figured that he’d be a typical lefty, badly overplay his hand, and the Country would have its necessary lefty purgative and get back to sanity. But I was wrong. He has badly overplayed his hand, but he is getting away with it. I don’t think the MSM is any more in the tank for Comrade Obama than they were for Slick Willie, and there are far more alternative news sources today, yet Comrade Obama continues to thrive. I sure wish there was a Newt Gingrich-style leader out there somewhere that could focus opposition to the Soros Junta or we’re not going to have a republic in 2016.
Watching how Obama has been treated over the course of his first term has shown me depth & breadth of the power of affirmative action that I could never have imagined. Also, think Eric Holder & my point is underscored. I think these two could take their wives out somewhere, put them through a wood chipper & that would make no difference to the MSM or their minions.

Wrong – he specifically invoked 2008. He’s either so ignorant he doesn’t know the truth or a liar. In other words, the centerpiece of the Dem Party’s platform of institutionalized Orwellian political correctness, not to mention racism.
Liberals swim in a sea of unreality. Frankly, I don’t even see the world they describe as existing. It’s like a political ideology based on being polite at a cocktail party. But you can’t form policy around changing the name of a thing and calling it reality. I call that insanity.
You’re missing the subtleties here. The Newspaper’s camp(aign) followers may have raised more money for him, but he didn’t spend it; like a good dog, he brought it to his masters: Ayers, Daley, and Soros.

Ann Coulter says we elect a Democrat President every so often (1976, 1992, 2008 – 16 year intervals) and are quickly reminded of how bad (insane, corrupt, incompetent – pick your adjective) they are, and then we eventually return to sanity and elect a Republican again. The problem is that neither of our most recent Republican Presidents (Bushes 41 & 43) governed as conservatives, and that’s how we got Clinton & Obama. If history holds true, we won’t have to suffer another Democrat President until 2024.
You may be correct. But, it will take at least that long to clean up the cow dung left by this lot.
Yep, but what gives me hope -it’s not Obama- is that 2012 will be a repeat of 2010, the greatest drubbing of Democrats in the last 40-50 years. And just as you say, we’ll spend the next 12 years cleaning up the mess(es) made by liberals, by returning to carbon fuels, restoring the economy, creating tax incentives to encourage job growth (which the Dems will falsely spin as “tax breaks for the rich”), curbing fraudulent entitlement spending, and last but not least, repealing the disaster known as Obama(doesn’t)care.

It’s like when the scrappy United States and USSR faced down the Nazis despite being “outspent” by the Germans so heavily…or how the undaunted North won despite Lee having much bigger armies….
Actually, for much of the early Civil War, The North really believed that The South had bigger armies. Through the ’63 battles, the actual field armies were roughly equal, though The North had many more men in uniform and many, many more that it could mobilize by eliminating the bounty system. From the Overland Campaign onward in the East and from Chattanooga onward in The West, US troops significantly outnumbered CS troops.
This will not matter. The media will not call him out on it. Obama could shoot dead a small child on television and his acolytes will blame George Bush.

Technically he is not lying. He may hve been out spent before he managed to force out his opponents. I believe that this can be called a quibble, a statement that is not untrue but intended to deceive.
With respect to his first campaign, you may have a point, but with respect to the 2008 campaign, he is blatantly lying. Plain and simple.
