I’m taking this latest missive from the Obama campaign as a cry for help. Which I’ll laugh at, and otherwise hope the help never comes.
Friend –
I will be the first president in modern history to be outspent in his re-election campaign, if things continue as they have so far.
You should’ve thought of that before you started attacking the states and whole industries one by one.
I’m not just talking about the super PACs and anonymous outside groups — I’m talking about the Romney campaign itself. Those outside groups just add even more to the underlying problem.
There’s an admission that Mitt’s a better manager than Obama is. That was already obvious, but it’s good of Obama to admit it.
The Romney campaign raises more than we do, and the math isn’t hard to understand: Through the primaries, we raised almost three-quarters of our money from donors giving less than $1,000, while Mitt Romney’s campaign raised more than three-quarters of its money from individuals giving $1,000 or more.
Here’s more math that’s not hard to understand: Obama is now spending more than his campaign is taking in. Sort of like how he’s running the country.
And, again, that’s not including the massive outside spending by super PACs and front groups funneling up to an additional billion dollars into ads trashing me, you, and everything we believe in.
We can be outspent and still win — but we can’t be outspent 10 to 1 and still win.
Soros doesn’t have your back anymore? Riiiiight.
More than 2.2 million Americans have already chipped in for us, and I’m so grateful for it. As we face this week’s fundraising deadline, please donate $3 or more today.
Every donation you make today automatically enters you to join Michelle and me for one of the last grassroots dinners of this campaign — today is your last chance to get your name in.
Can I bring Rush and Levin? How about Andy McCarthy or Christian Adams?
These dinners represent how we do things differently. My opponent spent this past weekend at a secretive retreat for the biggest donors to both his campaign and the super PACs that support him.
I’ve got other responsibilities I’m attending to.
Such as…?
Donate today to stand for our kind of politics:

Thank you,
Barack
So much for Billion Dollar Barry.

I dont’ see what his problem is, can’t he simply borrow ten billion dollars?
Merkel said, “You betcha, Barry. Right after we bail out Spain and France.” The lady has a great laugh.
– for pity or charity when he was the Billion Dollar Candidate in 2008. Have some dignity, Prez. Ask for public funding, as did McCain.
So sorry, Preezy, but people stopped listening to your senseless, egotistical drivel some while ago.
Don’t hold back on the spending Zero – you’re the best we’ve ever seen when it comes to deficit spending. A negative bank account hasn’t stopped you from ringing up red-tape spending the taxpayers haven’t yet coughed up to the IRS yet (and won’t for many years) – whats the problem? Just pluck another crop of ‘C’ notes from that fantasy tree you found.
Dear Barry: sorry, but you apparently have confused me with someone who gives a s**t.
Spend all you can, Barry. Sasha and Malia don’t need to go to college anyway.
All college would do for them would be to reinforce their sense of entitlement, along with all the rest of the indoctrination they are getting at home.
Better they should be removed from their parents, and from parental financial support, and made to try to support themselves at the minimum-wage jobs that are the only jobs available these days.
Let them try to avoid starvation by working a cash register somewhere. After all, if it’s good enough for ME, it should be good enough for THEM.
And no, I’m telling you the absolute truth. I am trying to eke out a living as a cashier while also trying to make preparations to leave the USA permanently.
My gosh, what a crybaby. He complains about the secret retreats. What about his donor events where only people with the proper PICTURE ids are allowed in? Where is lips are firmly planted on the behinds of just about every liberal actor and actress in Hollywood? I have absolutely no sympathy for this liberal thug and bully (“gee mommy, why isn’t anyone coming to my party? Well son, maybe if you didn’t beat them up all the time they might want to come and bring a gift”).
If this jackwagon is re-elected the idea that was The United States will be destroyed.
All we have to do for a chance at a free, all expense paid dinner with President Obama and his lovely first lady is contribute a measly three dollars (money only, no food stamps). That’s cheap. Besides, President Obama has too many important matters of state to waste time begging the rich and famous for more money.
Did anyone catch the name of the winner of that much ballyhooed dinner with Anna Wintour and Sarah Jessica Parker?
Mayor Menino said Boston was honored to have the president blow in and out to line his pockets with silver.
Barry came up with that $1 billion to make sure that no Democrat would dare mount a primary challenge. He also used that figure as a threat to the Republicans, challenging them to how much they had to raise.
Well that figure has come back to haunt the prez. He built his reelection organization based on a $1 billion budget, and now fundraising is going to fall far short. Since he has no real managerial experience, he doesn’t know how to organize around the money he does have.
Look at all the campaign appearences, where the prez has dumped the security costs onto the locals. Honestly, is there any city stupid enough to schedule this guy to show up?
“The Puppet master” is still going to donate heavily to Mr. Obama’s campaign, just not like he did in 2007/08. This 2012 Mr. Soros said he’s concentrating on “infrastructure.”
This statement in and of itself is innocuous but when taken in the context of Presidential elections has a very, real, sinister meaning, to wit:
Remember: SOE Equipment, from Tampa, FL was awarded a contract for Florida’s Voter Results Tabulations in 2008 and 2010 Election results. Their “Clarity,” 8 module system of programs never detected, nor purged Florida’s files…giving rise to Election results fraud heralded around the world. Now, this same company has been bought by SKYTL from Barcelona, Spain, where 2012 Election results will be centralized and tabulated. SKYTL is a duly registered foreign entity, as such is not qualified to tabulate American Election results, especially when performed on foreign soil…Barcelona, Spain. Question: Is Mr. Soros thinking this consortium is legally authorized to tabulate American 2012 Presidential Election results? Why isn’t a congressional oversight committee investigating this?
Fraud on a massive scale is underway in every state of America. Eyes, ears and citizen involvement will be necessary to insure voter integrity. An additional 8 to 10 million “White” voting catagory citizens will be necessary to offset “Black, Hispanic and Asian” double digit voter turnout increases. Mobilze all “White” community voters to “turnout and vote.” God Bless America. Amen.
It’s like I said in 2008: he was against the campaign going to the guy with the most money, until he was told that he’d be the one who had the most money. Then, suddenly, he became the guy who thought that was OK. Now he doesn’t have as much money, and so whether he wins or loses, he’s going to be in favor of campaign finance reform, to limit the amount of money Republicans can raise in political campaigns.
Talk about hypocrisy…
I think Obama’s just gathering excuses for losing the election, like laying a suit of clothes on the bed to see how it looks:
“I lost because I got outspent.”
“I lost because Americans are racist.”
“I lost because the Romney campaign told lies about me. They were mean.”
You know, just in case.
Here’s why Obama will lose – although his loss will be too late to save what is left of the US:
The US owes more than the entire planet can pay back!
“I’m not just talking about the super PACs and anonymous outside groups — I’m talking about the Romney campaign itself. Those outside groups just add even more to the underlying problem.”
If he is talking foreign groups I share his concerns. If he is talking about fellow Americans then there is no way they can be “outside” groups. Unless in Barack Obama’s America, if you do not support his candidacy you will in the future be “outside”. “Outside” what? The law?
In fact, these groups are *American* groups, not “outside” groups; citizens not satisfied with this man’s behaviour *and* performance, and the candidate might wish to consider the root cause of his being outspent for the first time in modern history–because of a performance so poor as to completely cancel out any and all advantages of incumbency. For if Barack Obama is the first sitting president to be outspent, he would not be the first to lose. Which means, if we take the President at his word, incumbents have lost even though they had more money than the challenger–though ultimately not more support from the people. And they had more money because they had the power of incumbency. But Barack Obama can’t even manage that, it seems. Which would be of a course.
The man doth protest too much. There is plenty of wealth on his side of the aisle, and in the nation at large–more than enough to counter whatever is being raised by the other side . If he cannot get to it, he has no one but himself to blame.
And for those who will talk of corporate money…spare me. Wall Street is not the home of social conservatism, and if somehow the fate of the nation rests upon the next President, as we will certainly be told, and President Obama could win but will not take money from willing allies to do so, willing allies who believe in the cause, money without strings, because he has some “higher” principle–in that case, if the man is such a fool as to risk everything that America is because of a hypothetical, it is proof that he should not have the job, because he in fact is a fool, and would just end up running everything into the ground anyway. For he is apparently doing so with his campaign.
The real truth would seem to be that fewer and fewer believe in this polished and suave poseur, and will not fund him even to maintain appearances. We need pay his complaints no heed.
I mean, I could see his speech now–”Let me be clear—it is imperative I win, because the fate of the nation depends upon it, and I have such economic abilities and superior judgment so as to be able to fix what ails us, a situation which will benefit all, including corporations, and thus I should be the natural choice for all, including corporations. But I will not take their money, therefore I am going to risk all for this scruple of mine, and if your children end up living in a stagnant nation because the other guy won, well, at least I kept my pride.”
I’m sure it will be highly effective on the stump.
