“Dark clouds gather over China’s once-booming solar industry,” the London Telegraph reports:
China’s push into solar energy was supposed to be a proud example of how the country was advancing into hi-tech manufacturing. But now the whole sector is on the brink of bankruptcy.
Via Kate of Small Dead Animals, who quips, “Nobody saw this coming.”
Besides, how much solar power does a ghost city need, anyhow?

Well, nobody who believes what they read and/or hear from the know-nothing media saw this coming, just like nobody who did the same in 2005/06 saw the housing bust coming. Anybody with half a brain or more saw this coming, in both cases. Infer from that what you will.
