“Research Study”: Don’t Hire the Guy with the Stay-at-Home Wife
June 8th, 2012 - 4:46 am
I have a post over at the PJ Tatler about a research study that proposes that men who have stay-at-home wives are harmful to women in the workplace. You can read it here.

@: “We develop and empirically test the theoretical argument suggesting that such organizational members, compared to male employees in modern marriages, are more likely to exhibit attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors that are harmful to women in the workplace.”
_____________
Translation: they are more likely to exhibit conservative values, which are going to be painted as “attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors that are harmful to women in the workplace” whether it is true or not.
How about a counter study? We can title it: “Research Study”: Don’t Hire the Woman with the Feminist Belief System.” Then they can write: “We develop and empirically test the theoretical argument suggesting that such organizational members, compared to female employees with more traditional views, are more likely to exhibit attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors that are harmful to men in the workplace.”
Of course, I say it in jest, but the “Feminist Study” flip I made up actually is probably true. It takes very little to get a man reprimanded or fired if a woman is offended by anything she suspects the man might be thinking.
This is why even if we elect conservatives, liberalism will continue to win the war. Most conservatives are too busy taking care of their families (for example, by working hard to support a family of four on one income) to challenge all the liberal fronts. Meanwhile, liberals will go into careers where they are teachers or journalists or entertainers so they can influence everyone else and everyone else’s children how to be liberal.
Absolutely correct. TradCon women raise families and keep their noses out of others’ business. LibFems go to college and then spend their lives infesting education, media and DC to foist their cancer upon others. You will never, ever see the Right winning the culture war because to the Left, it is the very basis for their existence. They are the Borg.
Don’t count out those TradCon wives. You think they are staying out of other people’s business? How many of the tea party organizers started out as Stay at home wives? We have the time at home around all the child care and housework to investigate and read the news. We have the urge to protect our conservative values. So we will be more active than you think.
And many of us did go to college. We saw what liberalism is doing to those around us. We want to fight it.
Take a look at the grass roots efforts and you will find many stay at home wives among those volunteering (because we have time to volunteer) to help campaigns, speaking up at city council meetings to help keep liberalism out of the local level, and talking politics and economics among themselves.
Conservative women are becoming more aware. Whether we are stay at home or working. And we’re getting more involved.
I’m grateful for the clarification (and I’m aware you also go to college).
Hmm, I guess this could mean hiring the gal with the stay at home husband can be detrimental to guys working in the modern back biting, back stabbing, politically correct, working girl environment where a sexual harassment complaint is always a dime drop away from happening to guys?
Those stay-at-home wives will be able to do more to help their husbands, who will then be free to work longer and cover for their colleagues who have to take time off to tend to their families and personal needs. But I admit that will probably make working women feel inadequate.
