I’ll repeat what I said yesterday, that the reality-show host and promoter may be the perfect celebrity candidate for our age, no matter what his policies might actually be. I would add though that neither reality shows nor promotors have much of anything to do with reality, which as Wilson notes is half the secret of Trump’s success.
The other half is encapsulated in that tweet about the mainstream media and “lambs to the slaughter.”
