More red meat from Kurt Schlichter, this time on the First Amendment:

We’d rather die than “live” on our knees, begging permission to exercise the right God gave us to say whatever we damn well please, whenever we damn well please, and in the manner we damn well please. And those who want to shut us up better be equally committed if they want to succeed.

After Garland, they went too far. They showed their hand and their goal, a world where they decide who gets to say what. Imagine the same hysterical social justice drama queens who shriek about microaggressions getting to decide what you can and can’t say. Just understand, you fascist bastards, that if you want to be Nazis, you’ll need to do what the Nazis did and find some armed thugs – yeah, I’m using the word “thugs” whether you like it or not – to come stop us. Tell them to wear Kevlar.

Read the whole thing.

A while back I tweeted something like, “Antisocial? Uninterested in justice? Hardly a warrior? Then Social Justice Warriors can use you!” But as Kurt points out in that last line of his I quoted, the part about “hardly a warrior” may prove to be key.

Might and right are both on the side of liberty, at least unless (until?) our police and military become totally corrupted. So these vile progressive SJWs can tighten the screws on college campuses and in social media, but in the long run their cause is doomed — provided those on the right and on the left who still value free speech do one thing.

Speak up.

That’s all there is to it: Don’t be silenced. And if you aren’t exactly the warrior type yourself, know that your back is covered by good men like Kurt and that off-duty Garland cop, armed with only a pistol, who took down two assault-rifle wielding terrorists.

So speak up.
