Somewhere north or zero and south of 40 lies Professor Ditherton Wiggleroom’s floor of support. I don’t think, taking into account dreamy-eyed statists, die hard Democrats, and his African-American base, that Wiggleroom could possibly much slip below 30% approval. But I wouldn’t be in the least bit surprised if he were soon to test that floor. The last line in this CNN lede graf however did surprise me:
As President Barack Obama’s approval rating hits another all-time low, a new national survey also indicates that Americans say the President has less power than congressional Republicans when it comes to shaping events over the next year.
The ball, if it isn’t already in the GOP’s court, is heading that way fast. And it’s a total lob, easily returned by any player worth his salt.
