If you follow these things, The Verge has the best and easiest-to-follow liveblog of Apple’s WWDC.

I’ve got a bunch of tabs open, but I keep finding myself back at there.

UPDATE: New “next generation” MacBook Pro. Retina Display of 2880 x 1800 on a 15.4″ screen. SSD, quad core, seven-hour battery, under 4.5 pounds, the works. Oh, and about a third thinner than last year’s passé model Pro.

This is the new must-have laptop for creative pros.

UPDATE: Why a 4:3 display instead of 16:9? To make enough depth for a battery big enough to drive the beast.

That’s a guess, but a good one.
