Happy Halloween

Jesse Walker collects ten of the creepiest movies you’ve probably never seen for Halloween this year.

It’s a great list, but just a minor quibble, Jesse — a scary movie list without a haunted house flick? Crank the list up to eleven and add “The Legend of Hell House.” I grew up in the days before cable, watching scary movies on Channel 11 in St. Louis — and LOHH is the one movie that really scared me.

Oh, and if Cronenberg is your thing, skip Videodrome (it made me laugh, not shake) and substitute Dead Ringers, instead. Now that’s a creepy movie.
