Exit polls make it look like Edwards’s southern charm isn’t very effective outside of states with “Carolina” in the name:

If Kerry is really beating Edward 2-1 in Tennessee, then I don’t know where he can win. Virginia is less telling, simply because the northern part of the state is really part of Greater DC.

But getting trounced in TN? Bad news for Edwards fans.
