Exit polls show Oklahoma is breaking for Edwards, rather than Kerry. Mushy support in the midwest could be a bad sign for Kerry come November.
On the other hand, Kerry might walk away from Missouri with an absolute majority — pretty convincing in a four- or five-way race. And Missouri is a state to watch. As I’m sure you know already — and will be reminded of endlessly until Election Day — Missouri is the ultimate bellweather state. It’s voted for the winner of every presidential race since, approximately, the Birth of Democracy in Athens.
