Final Thoughts

As promised, if a bit later than expected.

The speech was what it had to be. Nothing more and, thankfully, nothing less. Resolve, an ultimatum, and a bit of hope to the Iraqi people.

There’s not much else to say, other than to thank the men and women of our forces and those of our allies, not all of whom will be coming home.
