CNN now give the Reps 47 Senate seats to 46 for the Dems.

Assuming Allard in Colorado and Talent in Missouri both win (an increasingly likely outcome) that give the Republicans 49 seats — with one to be decided next month in Louisiana’s runoff election.

Oh, did I forget to mention that one of the seats still to be decided is Alaska? And that Stevens (R) will win it?

That’s 50, isn’t it?
