Australia confiscated damn near every handgun in the nation six years ago, in an effort to fight violent crime. In those six years, gun violence has risen 40%.

In the US, liberalized concealed carry laws are becoming the norm, rather than the exception. Here in El Paso County, Colorado, for example, all you need to get a permit is eighty bucks, a clean record, and some safety lessons. And, yeah, violent crime, armed and otherwise, is down across the board in the US.

Reality can be tres simplese, no?
