Turn That Heartbeat Over Again

Dever explains the Drug War to us in terms of Don Johnson’s singing career.

No, I’m not kidding. Apparently, the only difference between the two is that you have a choice not to listen to Don’s “music.” We can’t opt out of the Drug War for a weekend of fun & frolic.

I share this with you because it’s a damn funny post, and you really ought to read it. But mostly because I don’t want to be the only one experiencing really bad Top 40 flashbacks from 1986. I’ve had “Heartbeat” stuck in my head for 20 minutes now.

NOTE: Good ’80s music really started in 1978, and was all but over by 1984. Yes, I am talking about New Wave, and, yes, I do still love it.
