Bear With Him a Moment
Early yesterday afternoon, I wrote, “The economy is back to buoyancy, layoffs are way down, and employment is about to rocket back upwards.”

Now this from the New York Times:

In the latest sign that the American economy is recovering from the recession, the nation’s unemployment rate unexpectedly fell for the second consecutive month to its lowest level since October as employers added jobs, the government said today. The unemployment rate slipped to 5.5 percent in February from 5.6 percent in January, the Labor Department reported. Wall Street economists had predicted that the unemployment rate would rise to 5.8 percent.
