Stanley Kurtz nails it. And no, this isn’t a continuation of the Blog Porn Wars. Over at NRO, Kurtz says the US is entering a time of “reluctant imperialism.”
The word “reluctant” perfectly captures almost all of our foreign adventures, from the Barbary Pirate War to the present day. Anyway, go read it already.
