Nothing on the left happens in a vacuum. It's taught, lectured, written about, paid for, and polished. Renee Good was just doing what she was trained to do. And now she's dead.
And somehow that's everyone else's fault except Good, her partner — who told her to "Drive! Drive! Drive!" — and everyone else in this leftist cult. This is all Trump's fault, it's ICE's fault, and their mothers' fault, they'd tell you. Anyone else's fault but theirs.
Webinars, in-person training, Zoom calls, and texts all provide nudges, orders, and powerful suggestions to this suggestible coven of (mostly) women conducting what are known as "Direct Actions" to further their aims.
Here are our anti-ICE forces getting trained in person — at a church, no less — for direct action against federal officers.
And as you can see from the follow-on message, the pay's pretty good.

And indeed, Good was a trained "ICE Watch Warrior" according to the New York Post. Training is ubiquitous. The pay-for-play for theater kids has been going on for decades. Here's my tweet from 2012 about Occupy Portland paying for theater kids. Andrew Breitbart retweeted it.
Is #OPDX HIRING ACTORS to be "apologetic captains of industry" to rile up mobs? http://t.co/27n9SiaZ #5vtshow @Biggovt @AndrewBreitbart #F29

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (☭, Antifastan) has a side hustle of training people for direct actions against the government or anyone she doesn't like. She teamed up for an anti-Elon Musk, anti-Tesla "resistance" operation in 2025 with Harvard professor Erica Chenoweth.
I reported last spring in Well, Lookie Here: Congresswoman and Harvard Prof Are Caught Planning Massive Anti-Trump Riots? that the two women ask their students how far they're willing to go to make their point. You must, they said, decide what your "risk tolerance" is:
During a one-and-a-half-hour “resistance lab” training, Jayapal, a Seattle Marxist, and Chenoweth, who heads the Nonviolent Action Lab at Harvard's Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at the Harvard Kennedy School, taught students on a Zoom call how fight for “democracy” by taking to the streets in organized protests.
Though they paid lip service to nonviolence, activists on the call were told to decide what their “risk tolerance” is for these actions. That’s another way of saying “Are you willing to get violent, go to jail, or hurt someone else?” They said the attacks on Tesla were effective at moving people to the streets. Oddly, (or is it?) they didn’t disavow the attacks on Teslas or the people driving them.
And their trainings continue, as I reported in Commie Congresswoman and Harvard Prof Are Put on Blast for Holding Mob Boot Camp.
The California-based group that doxxes ICE and Border Patrol agents is offering training on how to stop the feds.
They even have training for illegal aliens on career advancement.
They dox, mock, and encourage "resistance."
Over the years, I've been on a lot of the left's text message chains. Here's an example I found on my phone from "Shut Down DC" in 2023 to prime the base for the latest Outrage of the Month protest.
(ShutDownDC) From the climate crisis to attacks on elections and a rogue Supreme Court, this fall is a critical moment for democracy. This fall we're going to rise to the challenge ahead of us with a week-long mobilization on the National Mall.
October 16-22 we're going to converge on the mall, and build a massive art installation transforming the space with a massive art installation inviting everyone to work together to BUILD DEMOCRACY.
Throughout the week we'll hold trainings, workshops, and panel discussions to strengthen our movements and prepare for the challenges ahead. We'll also deploy direct actions around the nation's capitol disrupting business as usual for the people and institutions that are undermining democracy.
Check out https://eztxt.net/D8EUjc for more details and to find out how to get involved! STOP to end
It turns out that that protest was a dud. Shut Down DC, however, is very successful at shutting down streets in D.C. on behalf of The Climate. We're pretty sure "The Climate" could do without them, but here we are. Where do these lazy layabouts get their funding? The usual: Tides Foundation, Soros's Open Society, Rockefeller Foundation. Those grants are disseminated to smaller groups to provide these august foundations from the untidiness of guerrilla warfare on the streets.
This is a trained and paid-for revolution. And don't you let anyone tell you differently.
