Santa Claus has a tough job. The hopes, dreams, and wishes of millions of kids are in his hands as he tries to bring them joy this holiday season.
Some kids ask for impossible things. I remember when I was about 5 years old I wanted a real Sherman tank. Some kids ask for a real space shuttle or a 747. But Santa is wise as well as jolly and only brings presents that kids can handle.
But what do you think Santa would have thought if he got a Christmas list from Professor George Ciccariello-Maher of Drexel University, who tweeted, “All I want for Christmas is White Genocide”?
Sheesh. Whatever happened to “All I want for Christmas are my two front teeth”?
He later returned to Twitter on Christmas Day to “clarify himself” after his tweets began to garner significant attention.
“To clarify: when the whites were massacred during the Haitian Revolution, that was a good thing indeed,” he said Sunday afternoon.
Ciccariello-Maher, who is white, obviously has a very serious problem. He was either dropped on his head as an infant or, more likely, he grew up with his parents not even acknowledging he existed. This man has a pathological need for attention.
In another tweet uncovered from earlier in December, Ciccariello-Maher describes himself as not being “alt-left,” but rather an “outright communist.”
But according to the Daily Caller, this is not Ciccariello-Maher’s first time inciting outrage on Twitter after tweeting incendiary comments about white people, even once tweeting in June 2015 that the white race should be “abolished.”
So how did that august center of higher education, Drexel University, handle the situation? While not thrilled with his sentiments, the school’s administration is apparently going to give the professor a stern talking to:
While the University recognizes the right of its faculty to freely express their thoughts and opinions in public debate, Professor Ciccariello-Maher’s comments are utterly reprehensible, deeply disturbing, and do not in any way reflect the values of the University.
The University is taking this situation very seriously. We contacted Ciccariello-Maher today to arrange a meeting to discuss this matter in detail.
The professor has written three books, all on communism and Venezuela — which has failed horribly in the South American country as its citizens continue to starve to death — and he writes and contributes to liberal websites like Salon, the Huffington Post, Alternet and others.
Why Ciccariello-Maher teaches at a private university that is costly to attend as an “outright communist” is unknown.
Ciccariello-Maher has also since made his public, verified Twitter account private.
I actually pity this pathetic man’s attempt to garner attention. He isn’t even very unique in his efforts to obtain internet stardom. Just another sad, lonely creature in need of love and tenderness denied him when he was younger.
But if he really wants white genocide, maybe he could start with himself.
