Robert De Niro made headlines a couple of days ago when he released a rant saying he wanted to punch presidential candidate Donald Trump in the face.

De Niro continued his rant against Trump over the weekend in Dubai, where he was promoting financial opportunities in the Caribbean. The actor called Trump a “punk” and a “mutt.”

“This is such an awful situation that I felt compelled to say something about it because people have been letting him get away with it for some reason and now they are starting to react,” he said in an interview.

In De Niro’s latest interview, he reiterated his sentiment that he would like to punch Trump in the face.

“This guy does not have a clue about what goes on in the rest of the world no matter what he says,” he added, according to The National newspaper. “It’s disgraceful this guy was allowed to get as far he has. I don’t understand how people could be seduced into thinking this guy has an answer. He has no answer.”

The actor was asked if he would leave the U.S. if Trump wins the election.

“That’s a good question – I don’t know,” said De Niro.

What did De Niro have to say about criticism of his video from fellow actor Jon Voight?

“Voight is a nice guy,” said De Niro. “But he’s delusional.”
