Obama Gets Pinocchio of the Year

It’s nice of the media to start fact-checking Barack Obama after he has been elected twice and imposed himself on the country. Yet even in calling it a lie, Glenn Kessler can’t help but make excuses — it “backfired” and people are losing their healthcare because of “regulations” etc.

If Obama knew what was in the law at all, then he knew it was a lie each time he said it. Full stop.

This particular lie helped elect and re-elect Obama. It fueled Obamacare’s passage and fundamentally changes the citizen’s relationship to the state. So Lie of the Year minimizes it. It’s at least the Lie of the Century so far.
