President Trump often leaves some of his best Twitter activity for Saturdays, and he didn’t disappoint this holiday weekend, unleashing on three of his most frequent critics.

The Hill:

President Trump blasted former FBI Director James Comey, former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper on Saturday for criticism of a tweet Trump sent following a reported accident at an Iranian rocket facility.

The president referred to the three men in a pair of tweets as “failed former ‘Intelligence’ officials” and accused them of scolding him for offering “condolences” to Iranian officials.

Here’s the tweet:

The “two birds with one stone” dig at Comey and Brennan continues a war of words between the president and two men who were once tasked with keeping the country safe but have been reduced to being Exhibits 1A and 1B of the ravages of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Brennan truly is the worst of the lot. His television appearances are more like therapy sessions where he seems to be working out some daddy issues rather than providing thoughtful analysis.

Whether Brennan is dumber than Comey is highly debatable, however. Comey is under the impression that having the public learn of his dereliction of duty as FBI Director makes him look good.

President Trump followed that up with reassurance that the triumvirate didn’t do any permanent damage:

It’s a long weekend, there could be more of this. As I’ve said on many occasions recently, anyone no having fun right now simply isn’t paying attention.
