Tuesdays primaries turned out all right for the Republican Party, further quelling the “Blue Wave Fever” of the Democrats. After crowing about Democratic voter turnout in a couple of special elections, Tuesdays numbers weren’t quite as newsworthy.

I don’t agree with McConnell much, and he is engaging in a little revisionist history. His mentions of some of the candidates in the 2010 and 2012 elections are subtle digs at the Tea Party people, whom McConnell has always hated despite the fact that he never would have been within shouting distance of the majority without them.
Still, I am a Blue Wave skeptic, and I like his chutzpah here:
