I’m not sure whether to trust their stats, but Maariv International reports only a slight rise in Jewish support for Bush since the 2000 election (25% in Tuesday’s vote, up from 19%). Still this might be significant, depending on how you want to parse it. Considering the President’s well-known support for Israel, I was surprised it wasn’t more. But all politics is local, as they say.
