Congressmen Say the Gunman Asked Them if Republicans or Democrats Were on the Baseball Field

Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) says that he and Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) were leaving the baseball practice a little early to try to beat the traffic to get to their offices. But a man approached their car to ask if Republicans or Democrats were on the field, and they thought nothing of replying that Republicans were playing. You can imagine the regret he felt when he realized he had pointed the shooter in their direction.
