Jordanian King (Son of Black September) Abdullah Piles on Israel

Jordan’s King Abdullah plans to demand that America impose strict guidelines on Israel in order to jump start the stalled peace talks with the Palestinians.

You have got to be kidding, right?

Israel is ready, ready, ready—it is the Palestinians who now and forever have refused to come to the negotiating table. Further: Isn’t Jordan the country that massacred more Palestinians in one day in September, of 1970, than Israel has killed in battle ever since? Isn’t Jordan the country that just last week began revoking Jordanian citizenship for thousands of its Palestinian-Jordanian citizens? Pinch me, I must be dreaming, but isn’t Jordan/Transjordan the very country that was supposed to have been “Palestine?” And not just another phony desert monarchy?

Oh, wait, I forget: It is all Israel’s fault because Israel has refused to stop building in Jerusalem; one American Jewish leftist feminist (who, for now, shall remain nameless), has even publicly castigated Israel for the crime of trying to “Judaize Jerusalem.” Who could make this up?

However, let me quote Sultan Knish/David Greenfield who has penned a savagely witty, bitter, but highly informative blog in which he points out that the deeply offended, highly “insulted” Vice President, Joseph Robinette Biden, had himself, not once, but three times, co-sponsored Senate bills which called for Jerusalem to be recognized as Israel’s capital. According to Sultan Knish:

“In 1990 Senator Joseph Robinette Biden co-sponsored Senate Concurrent Resolution 106 which stated that: Whereas ambiguous statements by the Government of the United States concerning the right of Jews to live in all parts of Jerusalem raise concerns in Israel that Jerusalem might one day be re-divided and access to religious sites in Jerusalem denied to Israeli citizens; and Whereas such concerns inhibit and complicate the search for a lasting peace in the region: Now, therefore, be it Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That the Congress–

(1) acknowledges that Jerusalem is and should remain the capital of the State of Israel;

(2) strongly believes that Jerusalem must remain an undivided city in which the rights of every ethnic religious group are protected

In 1992 Biden also served as co-sponsor of Senate Consecutive Resolution 113. It states that: Now, therefore, be it Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That the Congress–

(1) congratulates the residents of Jerusalem and the people of Israel on the twenty-fifth anniversary of the reunification of that historic city;

(2) strongly believes that Jerusalem must remain an undivided city in which the rights of every ethnic and religious group are protected as they have been by Israel during the past twenty-five years;

In 1995, Biden himself served as a co-sponsor of S. 1322, known as the Jerusalem Embassy Act. Let’s look at the text of the Jerusalem Embassy Act now.

(a) STATEMENT OF THE POLICY OF THE UNITED STATES-

(1) Jerusalem should remain an undivided city in which the rights of every ethnic and religious group are protected;

(2) Jerusalem should be recognized as the capital of the State of Israel.”

The lies and hypocrisy are predictable but still overwhelming. Today, according to the BBC, The young Palestinian boy, Muhammed al-Faramawi, who had just been reported killed by Israeli forces in border clashes (who had, presumably, heartlessly allowed him to bleed to death)—has been found alive. The boy had been arrested by Egyptian forces when he tried to sneak into Egypt via the smuggler tunnels.

Egypt doesn’t want the Palestinians. Jordan doesn’t want them either, nor did Lebanon. What do these three Arab countries know about Palestinians and terrorism/Islamism that the United States refuses to understand? More: Why hasn’t any Arab country (Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Abu Dhabi, Oman, Qatar, etc.) allowed Palestinians to simply become citizens and go on with their lives? I am sure my readers know this answer. Please explain it to President Obama, Vice-President Biden, Secretary of State Clinton and the world’s mainstream media all of whom collaborated in a depraved and hypocritical public shaming of the Israeli Prime Minister.

I wonder if President Obama will release official photos of himself with King Abdullah who is due to visit Washington next week? (He refused to do so when Prime Minister Netanyahu visited). I hope that Obama asks Abdullah about why he is revoking citizenship for some Arabs and also talks to him about the very high rate of honor killings in Jordan which, with a single stroke of his pen, Abdullah could single-handedly abolish. Abdullah refuses to do so, too afraid to take on the tribal lords. Instead, he funds inaccurate reports of vast progress being made in this area—as well as the occasional prison cell for the intended victim of an honor killing. Read Elaine Sheeley on this.

Look: I’m hoping that Israel and India become fast friends; they have much in common. These days, even Saudi Arabia, the Mother Ship of Apartheid, might find itself turning towards Israel to forge an alliance against Iranian and Shii’a encroachment.
