After Winning the World Series, Astros' Carlos Correa Put a Ring on It!

Carlos Correa just might be the happiest man in America right now. Not only did the Houston Astros shortstop win a ring when his team clinched their first-ever World Series, but he also put a ring on it. The 23-year-old All-Star proposed to his girlfriend on national TV. During a postgame interview, Correa expressed how much the win meant to him and thanked those who have helped his home country, Puerto Rico, in the wake of the devastating hurricanes. Then, surprising everyone, Correa dropped to one knee and proposed to girlfriend Daniella Rodriguez, telling her that she’s made him the happiest man in the world.

Rodriguez, Miss Texas USA in 2016, was understandably emotional. After she planted a big kiss on his lips, Correa slipped a ring on her finger (after ascertaining that she was indeed accepting his unexpected proposal). It doesn’t get much better than this for a Fall Classic finale!
