On Wednesday, Massachusetts prosecutors dropped sexual assault charges against House of Cards actor Kevin Spacey. A long line of accusers came forward against Spacey starting in November 2017, leading to a lawsuit, criminal charges, and blacklisting by Hollywood. An upcoming film removed Spacey and House of Cards dropped him.

Yet last week, the son of WCVB anchor Heather Unruh, an 18-year-old man who accused Spacey of groping him at a bar in Nantucket, plead the Fifth Amendment when asked about a missing cellphone containing messages that might have been relevant to the case. He then dropped his lawsuit against Spacey.

Prosecutors dropped the case that depended on his accusation.

This does not mean Spacey is in the clear. The accusations against him came in the wake of #MeToo accusations against Harvey Weinstein. More than 30 men have accused Spacey of sexually assaulting them.
