Restaurant Uses 'Before and After' Pics of Transgender Celeb to Mark Bathrooms

A restaurant in North Texas is having a bit of fun with the issue of trans people and bathrooms:

There is a large picture Caitlyn Jenner that covers the door of the women’s restroom.

The photo is from Jenner’s debut as Caitlyn on the cover of Vanity Fair’s July 2015 issue.

Covering the men’s restroom door is a life-sized photo of Bruce Jenner celebrating after a win at the Olympics in 1976.

The restaurant, Dodie’s Cajun Bar & Grill, shared a pic of the new bathroom photos on Facebook back in August, and most people generally seemed to love it — but not everyone. Oddly enough, however, it wasn’t the PC police raising a stink. Instead, it’s people who have issues with transgenderism in general. However, I find it hysterical and clearly lighthearted.

But I now await the social justice jihadis taking issue with the door coverings. Because in the world of the SJW, it’s forbidden to mention a person’s name from before they transition. They refer to it as a “dead name,” and acknowledging that it ever existed is supposedly all kinds of rude. Calling Jenner “Bruce,” even if only referring to the time when he called himself “Bruce,” is discriminatory and horrible and everything else awful in the world.

Look — it’s a clever way to differentiate the men’s and ladies’ room.

Not only that, but it’s got people talking about it, when means people all over the country are hearing the name “Dodie’s Cajun Bar & Grill.”

Who knows whether the food is worth a flip, but I do know whoever runs the place has a pretty good sense of humor. Let’s hope their regular customers do as well, because I’d hate to see people get too offended to eat there any longer. In this day and age, that is far, far too common.
