This has to be the most hilarious thing to happen on the campaign trail so far. Pete Buttigieg is under fire for not sufficiently reaching out to black people, or something. He’s also under attack by his own party for volunteering with the “homophobic” Salvation Army, even though he’s the only gay candidate. I don’t really care what he did or didn’t do, but somebody on the Democrat side is trying very hard to get Buttigieg out of the race. This includes astroturfing his events in really strange ways. Cue the white (or possibly white Hispanic) protestor storming into a rally of black leaders for Buttigieg in Indiana. This couldn’t get more bizarre.
Why are non-black leftists always telling black people what to think and who to support? And how do they get away with not being labeled “racist” for telling actual black people how to be black? The optics are so strange.
“Who chose these people as the black leaders?” the pale guy shouts at a room full of black people. “Who organized this? We have a police crisis in this town!” he screams into a stolen microphone as ladies follow him around trying to get it back. “Why are we talking about Pete Buttigieg? Who chose these people as black leaders?” he asks. Just watch. It’s epic. As he is being escorted out with a few people they start chanting “THIS IS A FARCE!” Yes, that’s definitely the right word for it.
It’s delightful to watch Democrats tear one another apart with their own obsessions. I could watch this all day.
