Clinton pal Jeffrey Epstein busted for underage sex trafficking

Jeffrey Epstein, rich white guy and Clinton chum, was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of underage sex trafficking.

Epstein pleaded guilty in 2007 to a reduced felony prostitution charge in Florida and registered as a sex offender. His 13-month sentenced enabled him to get out of the Palm Beach County Stockade six days a week to work from his office, according to the New York Times.

Who was the FBI Director involved in Epstein’s deal? One Robert Mueller. And look at this:

In February of this year, a U.S. district judge in Florida ruled that prosecutors violated the federal Crime Victims’ Rights Act by not letting more than 30 identified victims know of the deal so they would have a chance to oppose it.

Playing fast and loose with due process? That doesn’t sound like the Robert Mueller I know.

Reuters also wants you to know that the prosecutor who made that deal was Alex Acosta, who is President Trump’s secretary of Labor, but they didn’t bother to mention Mueller was running the FBI at the time Epstein got a slap on the hand. USA Today, which is just total garbage, wants you to know there is a Trump-Epstein connection because they put it in the title that Epstein was an “associate” of Trump.

On Saturday, Trump biographer Tim O’Brien tweeted this 2002 quote by the future president, taken from a New York Magazine profile: “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

As part of its explosive investigation into the Epstein case published in November, the Miami Herald listed Clinton as one of his friends and associates, saying the ex-president often flew in Epstein’s plane and visited his island. The Herald also reported that Epstein donated to the Clinton Foundation.

The newspaper said there’s no evidence Trump or Clinton was involved in underage sex activities.

There’s no evidence Trump was involved with Epstein’s alleged escapades. His remark about Epstein seems like a bit of a red flag, but Bill Clinton was a frequent flyer on the Lolita Express. I wonder what they did on that island?

The New York Times discovers there’s a crisis at the border

Briefing readers, give a hearty welcome to The New York Times, who has finally recognized we have a crisis at the border.

Outbreaks of scabies, shingles and chickenpox were spreading among the hundreds of children who were being held in cramped cells, agents said. The stench of the children’s dirty clothing was so strong it spread to the agents’ own clothing — people in town would scrunch their noses when they left work. The children cried constantly. One girl seemed likely enough to try to kill herself that the agents made her sleep on a cot in front of them, so they could watch her as they were processing new arrivals.

Yes, this is what happens when you try and squeeze a watermelon through a pinhole. These facilities don’t have the capacity to serve the massive number of migrants trying to seek asylum. Our border officials cannot process these people in a timely manner. The overcrowded facilities are breeding-grounds for diseases and discord.

The Times exposes massive shortages of beds and other necessities and yet has fomented and encouraged politicians and the radical left to deny the president’s requests for the funding necessary to remedy the situation. The corporate media has rewarded the #resistance with fawning coverage and glory for grandstanding and avoiding addressing the problem, or as we call it: doing their job. These celebrated politicians refuse to negotiate legislative changes that would ease the border traffic, preferring to hold press conferences and hearings but offering no solutions. I wrote last week that I do not believe the resistance heroes actually care about these migrants. They just want a political fight. If they did care, we would see the Democrats working with Republicans and Trump ASAP to fix this. We don’t see that. Shame on them and their co-conspirators in the liberal media.

Trump responded to the article on Twitter.

Trump should have asked them what solutions they have to fix the border mess.

Iran announces breach of nuclear “deal”

Iran announced on Sunday it plans to breach the terms of the “deal” (JCPOA) set out in an agreement brokered by the Obama administration and its echo chamber. President Trump withdrew from this hot mess “deal” last year. The New York Times reports:

In recent weeks, Tehran has retaliated by making deliberate but provocative violations of the accord as part of a carefully calibrated campaign to pressure the West into eliminating sanctions that have slashed the country’s oil exports and crippled its economy.

Last week, Iranian officials broke through similar limits on how much nuclear fuel the country could stockpile.

Raise your hand if you think Iran was always in compliance with the JCPOA. The New York Times, a card-carrying member of the echo chamber, does.

Iran wants Europe to step in and provide economic relief after the country was hit with crippling U.S. sanctions. French President Macron has asked Iran’s President Rouhani “to explore by July 15 whether a new negotiation was possible. Mr. Rouhani agreed, according to news reports, but said that ‘lifting all sanctions can be the beginning of a move between Iran and the six major powers.'”

Iran insisted its nuclear facilities were never intended for weapons creation, only for energy, so why are they continuing to enrich? Were they lying?

Rich, white, one-percenter Tom Steyer plans to throw his hat in the ring

Tom Steyer, the progressive who has spent millions fighting against President Trump and trying impeachment him, has changed his mind and will enter the 2020 race for the Democratic presidential nomination, according to Politico.

There has been increasing chatter in recent months among those in Steyer’s circle about a potential run, according to two of the people, and one of the people said they expect him to talk a lot in his campaign about the economy given his background as a former hedge fund manager.

This is great news for Trump; Steyer will just pull the campaign’s playing field even more leftward. Steyer will also spend money on his campaign that won’t get spent elsewhere. A good move all around. The Democrats seem focused on tossing political Scooby snacks to their nutters and not much else to the larger number of people who are politically moderate.

“He’s definitely focused on the [fact that the] economy is not as good as people are making it out to be,” a source told the newspaper.

“I think his heart’s in the right place. If he’s doing this, he’s got a reason behind it — He’s a very intelligent man.”
