Maniac shoots up synagogue

If there is one thing to know about the horrible tragedy in Pittsburgh this weekend, it’s that Trump is responsible for it. The media is having a field day: Trump is a hater! He created a climate where it’s OK to kill Jews! Attacks against Jews are on the rise!

It’s the same kind of story we are hearing about the “bomber” who was revealed to be a lunatic who lived in a right-wing propaganda-covered van. The “bomber” is actually the exact image of every Trump supporter the left/legacy media has in their mind. We are all just like that nutter who lives in a van, making “bombs.” Don’t you forget it.

Back to the Pittsburgh shooting. The sad reality is that a Jew-hating maniac shot up a synagogue, killing 11 congregants. And despite all the lip service about the victims and the tragedy, this mass murder was promptly co-opted by political interests and the blame placed on President Trump and Republicans. It’s disgusting. There are so many ways the left has normalized antisemitism: the BDS movement on campuses by folks who “just hate Israel” but not the Jews. And, of course, Obama and his flying monkey assistants helped “sell” a deal that would give (and did give) $2B to Iranian terrorists and Jew-hating Hezbollah. The Women’s March has a leader who was formerly an anti-Israel activist. Maybe she just hated Israel but not the Jews?

I can’t say it any better than David Harsanyi at the Federalist in his piece: The Left’s Response To The Mass Shooting Of Jews Is An Act Of Bad Faith

But if you’re not upset about the vile accusations that are incessantly thrown at someone like Benjamin Netanyahu, while you think calling out Soros is de facto anti-Semitism, your main concern is liberalism, not the Jewish people.

If you think Trump should bring down the temperature, you have a point. If you think Trump should turn down the temperature but you fail to mention that a progressive yelling about “health care” tried to assassinate the entire GOP leadership on a baseball field, you don’t really care about the temperature.

If you fail to mention that Democrats have been accusing Republicans of wanting to the kill the poor and young, of trying to destroy the planet, of being “terrorists” after every school shooting, you don’t care about the temperature. If you rationalize mob behavior every time you don’t get your way in the electoral process, you don’t care about the temperature. And if your first instinct is to play politics with tragedy for partisan gain, you are part of the problem.
