Good Thursday morning.

Here is what’s on the president’s agenda today:

  • The president participates in a signing ceremony for S. 3508, the “Save Our Seas Act of 2018”
  • President Trump participates in a signing ceremony for H.R. 1551, the “Orrin G. Hatch-Bob Goodlatte Music Modernization Act”
  • The president delivers remarks at the Interagency Task Force to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons Annual Meeting

Apologies to all my Briefers for this being shorter than I wanted but I got a late start because my internet was down for about 2 hours after I woke up this morning.

Eric Holder: Let’s kick some Republicans

Eric Holder, the only attorney general of the United States of America to be held in Contempt of Congress, wants his deranged, maniacal hooligans on the left to get more physical with their political activism.

Also, Eric Holder gave high-powered weaponry to Mexican narco-terrorists.

“It is time for us, as Democrats, to be as tough as they are, to be as dedicated as they are, to be as committed as they are,” Holder told a crowd of campaign volunteers and candidates. “Michelle always says — I love her; she and my wife are like, really tight, which always scares me and Barack — but Michelle always says, ‘When they go low, we go high.’ No. When they go low, we kick ’em.

Hey Eric, COME AT ME, COME TRY AND KICK ME. DO IT.

It’s astonishing to watch a big bully like Eric Holder, who controlled the overly powerful U.S. Justice Department, act like the GOP is crushing the poor, downtrodden Democrats. The Kavanaugh nomination is one of the few times in my entire life the GOP establishment has actually stood up and refused to roll over and cave on an issue. That’s what has Eric Holder, Obama, Maxine Waters, Corey Booker, etc. so worried: the right is fighting back. The first victory was putting Trump in the White House and now, on the Kavenaugh issue, the establishment has fallen in line. That is really going to put a damper on the left’s plans to take over everything.

One can hope that our sad sack GOP establishment has learned a lesson: that they are rewarded when they stand up for the people who elected them. I’m not optimistic and you shouldn’t be either. Don’t be expectin’ the Republican leadership to do the right thing from now on.
