For weeks, the mainstream media has been practically foaming at the mouth, peddling the narrative that Donald Trump’s base was on the verge of collapse over his handling of the Iran-Israel conflict. According to their fever dreams, the so-called “MAGA civil war” was imminent, with Trump’s support supposedly crumbling because he dared to take decisive action against Iran’s nuclear program.
We were told that the Republican Party was fracturing, that Trump’s grip on his supporters was slipping, and that a handful of dissenting voices — suddenly elevated to the status of party kingmakers — were about to bring down the whole movement.
But as usual, the reality is a far cry from the media’s wishful thinking. The latest polling tells a story that the legacy press refuses to acknowledge: Trump’s supporters are not only standing by him, they’re overwhelmingly backing his decision to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities. A new GrayHouse poll, conducted immediately after the U.S. strikes on Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, found that a staggering 90% of Trump voters support the operation. Of those, 76% “strongly support” the action, while another 14% “somewhat support” it.
So much for the MAGA meltdown.
The poll also reveals that 84% of respondents recognize these strikes for what they are: limited military actions, not an open-ended war, and 82% see the operation as a smart, targeted move that advances U.S. objectives without dragging the country into another endless conflict.
This is a critical point that the media conveniently ignores: Trump’s base is not clamoring for war, but it does expect American strength and resolve when it comes to existential threats like Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
The “civil war” narrative is a fabrication, a desperate attempt by the press to manufacture division where none exists. We’ve seen the media try this before, and we’ll no doubt see it again.

Sure, there are a handful of voices — Tucker Carlson and a few others — who broke with Trump over the strikes. And yes, about 22% of Trump voters in the poll said they’d prefer continued diplomatic negotiations. But even among this minority, there’s little evidence of the apocalyptic split the media keeps hyping. Most of these voters simply want to exhaust all options before resorting to force, not join some anti-Trump insurrection.
If anything, the poll shows just how marginal the dissent really is. Trump’s overall approval among his voters sits at an eye-popping 96%. On the Iran strikes, support dips only slightly to 90%. That’s statistical noise, not a groundswell of opposition. The media’s obsession with fringe dissenters is nothing more than wish-casting, a transparent effort to prop up their own narrative.
And this isn’t an isolated finding.
Harvard-Harris polling from earlier this month — before the strikes — showed 82% of GOP voters approving of Trump’s crisis management, 85% supporting his negotiations with Iran, and 85% opposing any scenario where Iran gets the bomb. When asked directly, Republican voters backed military action to destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities by more than a two-to-one margin. These are not the numbers of a movement in disarray.
In the end, the alleged MAGA civil war exists only in the fevered imaginations of the legacy media. Their reporting isn’t journalism; it’s narrative management, designed to demoralize Trump’s supporters and create the illusion of chaos on the right. But the numbers don’t lie. Trump’s base remains as united and resolute as ever, especially when it comes to confronting America’s enemies.
The media can keep spinning their tales, but it won’t change the facts. Trump’s supporters aren’t abandoning him; they’re not torn over this issue. They’re rallying behind him precisely because he delivers the kind of leadership and results that the American people demand.
