Laken Riley was a young woman with her whole life ahead of her who was senselessly murdered, allegedly by an illegal immigrant who had no business in this country. It sickens me to think that Democrats could never bring themselves to be outraged by her senseless killing. To do so would have been to undermine Joe Biden’s open borders policies. There was no outrage, just crickets. They couldn’t say her name. They couldn’t even vote for the law named in her honor.
Meanwhile, Democrats are practically falling over themselves to defend Kilmar Abrego Garcia—an illegal alien with alleged MS-13 ties, a suspected wife-beater, and a possible human trafficker. Leading the charge is Senator Chris Van Hollen, who is clutching his pearls over “due process” like Garcia’s some kind of folk hero instead of a walking, tattooed rap sheet. It’s a pathetic and, frankly, disturbing display of twisted priorities and moral rot.
Let's be clear: Above anything else, Abrego Garcia has no right to be here, and he certainly doesn't deserve the unwavering support of anyone in the government. He had every reason to be deported, not coddled. But, of course, Democrats have a soft spot for criminals, especially if they're illegal immigrants.
Why was it so hard for Democrats to say Laken Riley's name? Why was it impossible for them to vote for the Laken Riley Act? Is it because acknowledging her death would force them to admit their open-border policies have deadly consequences? Is it because they're more concerned with protecting illegal immigrants than American citizens?

Van Hollen even had the audacity to call Abrego Garcia a "constituent." Really? A gang-affiliated illegal immigrant is now a valued member of the Democratic Party? It's an insult to every law-abiding American who plays by the rules and expects their leaders to protect them.
And the media? They're complicit in this charade. They downplay Riley's murder while amplifying lies about Abrego Garcia. Without fail, the mainstream media refers to him as “Maryland man” or even “Maryland father.” They're not journalists; they're Democratic Party mouthpieces, pushing a narrative that puts illegal immigrants above American citizens.
The ugly truth is, Democrats couldn’t care less about justice or fairness—they care about power, plain and simple. And they’ll trample over the innocent to keep it. Just look at how quick they are to ignore the brutal deaths of Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray, Rachel Morin, and so many others, while pouring their energy—and our tax dollars—into defending a suspected gang member. It’s not about principle. It’s about protecting their narrative, no matter the cost.
This is a pattern, folks. Democrats are always quick to defend illegal immigrants, no matter how heinous their crimes. But they're silent when American citizens are victimized. It's a betrayal of their oath to protect and serve the American people.
We must demand accountability. We must call out Democrats for their hypocrisy and their twisted priorities.
